Nicely priced all-inclusive hotel short uphill walk from sea and main road

This is all inclusive hotel for price what you can pay for one dinner. So there has to be correct expectations, as they need to manage costs. So if you are looking for luxury - not right place. With right expectations this is good place to stay. Staff all over place is really nice and helpful - especially reception, bar and cleaning lady. Food is kind of repetitive, but there are twists every day. And once you understand what you want, it works. Reasonable choices for breakfast as well, Room where I stayed had wonderful sea view and was very spacious. However it also came with quite steep climb up the stairs. Got used to it fast, but if it is problematic - ask for lower floor rooms.

Dinner place was quite crowded at peak times. Tip - go either when it opens or in last 30 minutes or so. Also there were issues with refilling - not fast enough or also with drink taps couple of days. No free internet in rooms, however it is clearly stated in description. Still seems strange at this time

Lovely place and staff, food not great but excellent value for money.

Charming place, pool area was beautiful, could see the sea from every aspect, super friendly staff and comfy beds, good location.

Food wasnt great. There were different choices each day.

Perfect for our group.

The rooms we had were perfect size, great view of the sea and not too far from the main area. The staff were fantastic, helped us out with everything we needed. The food was good but the variety wasn't amazing. Pool was a good size and had plenty of sunbeds.

Some rooms have awful locations and some have a fair distance to the pool area. The variety of food wasn't great, but tasted good. One thing to note is that the closest accessible beach is Stalida Beach only a very short taxi ride away

Great value for money, but with some trade-offs

The staff at the reception is very friendly and informative. The hotels offers a swimming pool, a tennis court and a ping pong. The food at the main restaurant was pretty decent, with the restaurant staff being very proactive. (apart from what I would assume to be the restaurant manager, who just stands at the restaurant door). All-inclusive drinks are also offered on the pool bar from 11 am to 11 pm. However there were no "cocktails". Basically there was a soda machine and some alcohol and you could for example get a "rum cola". Also note that the soda provided was not the original ones, so that could be an issue for some people. The hotel has a lot of rooms spread out on different buildings. The hotel rooms are kinda old and they would need a refurbishment, but the comfort was ok. Next is the location of the hotel: it is located on top of a hill. The bus station (bus stop 25) is located 200m away and goes to many of the surrounding towns like Stalida, Hersonissos, Malia, etc. On google maps the nearest beach (Παραλία Δράπανον) is not accessible (as it's been blocked by the hotel near it) so the actual nearest beach on foot with sunbeds is the "Natural Pebble Beach" (~18 min by foot), however this is very small and you might want to continue even further to the likes of Star beach. To cross the highway some people just jumped the border, however there is a pedestrian tunnel about 100m on the right, which is a safer way to pass. Additionally, since you need to walk a lot to these beaches (on return it's a lot of uphill on the direct sunlight which can be tiring) you can also go to Stalida by bus. (2 euro each way)

- Offbrand soda drinks. - No real cocktails included on all-inclusive. - The location isn't very good if you want to walk to the beach, or if you want to explore the nearby towns. - Some rooms are very high up and require a lot of stairs. (One of our double room was on the first floor, easily accessible with an elevator, whereas the other one was 5 floors up via stairs which could get tiring.) - No entertainment or anything during the day. (not even music by the pool). There was only one night a week of "Traditional greek dance", that we unfortunately missed. - Main restaurant was often busy and crowded, and I found the tables to be closer to each other than on most other hotels. Often there would be queues at the grill station or at the drinks machines. - Overall this hotel needs some renovation.

Was a good holiday. If we visit Crete again and need cheaper hotel, would consider it again.

Overall good budget hotel. Certainly not 4* comparing to other european 4* hotels but you get what you pay for. Rooms and common area were clean. Food is good but would not say best that Greece can offer (food was better in Rhodes 4* hotels). But there is always a choice what to eat. Swimming pool is big enough and always had enough free sunbeds. For 400 eur 7 nights for 3 people it was very good value. You get to eat and drink all day and clean room. But if you choose this hotel and dont plan to spend all time in the hotel you certainly need to rent a car. Getting to hotel from airport is ~50 eur (one way). We had rental car for full week so could drive around as much as we wanted.

Rooms are little tired and would need some updating. Shower is rather narrow (in the corner). AC in the room is old (still works) and makes noise which can be disturbing at night (had to give few slaps to plastic parts that they wouldnt rattle that much).

Variétés des buffets et bonnes découvertes des spécialités crétoises. Le personnel est très accueillant, gentil, attentionné. L'hôtel est très propre aussi bien pour les espaces communs que pour les chambres. Bon emplacement avec location de voitures, stations de bus et proximité des villes avoisinantes à pieds.

Points négatifs.....pas d'éclairage au niveau des escaliers pour accéder aux chambres par l'extérieur. Vue exceptionnelle sur la baie mais pas adapté pour les personnes qui ont des problèmes de genoux par exemple....beaucoup d'escaliers à monter et côte raide pour accéder à l'hôtel. Dommage car peu d'ambiance le soir....mais personnel du bar très gentil.

« Séjour tres agréable. »

Chambre bien placée, pas trop haute , avec une vraie vue sur la mer et lever du soleil du balcon Petit déjeuner pour tous les gouts, donc à chacun de choisir et de varier, des plats crétois mais de collectivité donc ne pas s'attendre à un repas typique, pour cela , aller dans les petits restaurants. personnel agréable, qui renseigne bien selon les besoins draps et serviettes changes 2 fois en 1 semaine. Service fait tous les jours. Piscine correcte, bien sur incivilité des touristes pour les transats. Merci à la personne qui avait indiqué le tunnel pour aller à la plage.

Une pendule à la piscine ou au restaurant. La cote pour monter à l'hôtel est rude , mais c'est son emplacement donc on n'y peut rien changer.
